How to Cope with Viral Stress and Uncertainty During Quarantine, with therapist Susan Zinn

How to cope with the stress of Corona, quarantine, and the unknown. This interview I did today with therapist Susan Zinn is full of practical tips on what to do to feel better during this time--from a legit trauma and eating disorder therapist who is helping people get through this everyday in her office. Here's my summary 5 TIPS ON HOW TO COPE WITH CORONA 1. Structure. Your mind does better when it knows what to expect amidst all the uncertainty, which can be triggering. Routine can go a long way to you feeling more secure. 2. Social interaction. Virtual happy hour, hangouts, games, if you can't get the real thing live. 3. Express your emotions. You will feel better when you do, they were meant to come out. To someone else, a journal, shit, even your dog. Let them out. 4. Humor and fun. More things that make life worthwhile and just good moments. 5. She said another great one but I forget, so you'll have to watch it to find out! Haha Any other questions for her? We will do this again. Write them on this post for me and I'll take questions from here. Kristen Reese your questions were on point, and we were able to get to 2 of them at the end. Thank you!
