Main Course takes the audience back in time with a phenomenal musical interpretation and a beautiful tribute to pop and disco legends Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. In 2024, MainCourse won the program The Tribute - Battle of the Bands on SBS6/Talpa under the name BeeGees Forever. With this victory, they not only captured the hearts of the jury, but also those of the entire Netherlands. Their success accelerated everything, and since then, the band has become an absolute crowd favorite. Later that year, they changed their name to MainCourse, as this name change made it possible to release their own single. Mike Ott: The average person first needs a helium balloon to match their vocal cords. Besides his incredibly stable vocals, he is also known as our rock. With the characteristic of arriving at least an hour early for every show, he also fulfills the role of father to our family. P.S. Mike is a retired plasterer. - Rik Jeffrey Italiaander: Enthusiastic, passionate, and emotional. This man is full of stories, but even more curious about others'. On stage, he's not a character but an exaggeration of himself. Jeffrey is a subtlety and a creative soul through and through. Martijn Bakker When you see someone tuck their chin into their chest, you know our Maurice is about to belt out another high note. But despite this gentleman being a father and the oldest of the group, he still seems like the biggest toddler at times, and in that respect, we're always happy with his presence on and off stage. - Kevin Rik Haker Our versatile Rik is a fantastic guitarist with a sensitive voice and consistently positive energy. He was also the driving force behind our Ahoy show, which we're all very proud of. Oh, and he hasn't eaten animals his whole life. A pacifist at heart and pedalboard-wise. - Jeffrey Yme van Elsloo Yme is the man with the iron discipline. He's the concrete foundation of the band. Sleek and always well-groomed, both in playing and hair, he's rocking the house. You recognize him by his tools: beat ring, samba ball, and in his hands and heart lies the rhythmic gold. - Mike Kevin Kos Kevin, along with Yme, forms the foundation of the band. He's also our "Agenda" chief and keeps a close eye on our schedules and appointments. Sensitive, autistic, a true musician, a homebody, a stage animal, the Barry Gibb of the band (at least in terms of appearance).
