INCIDENT DATE/TIME: July 23, 2013 at 12:05 a.m. LOCATION: Burger King, 20590 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, Tampa SUSPECT: Early 20's, B/M, short black hair, wearing mirrored sunglasses, a light blue long sleeved shirt, light colored pants and black gloves. Suspect wore a white shirt or cloth tied around the lower portion of his face. DETAILS: Tampa Police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect. The store manager of a New Tampa Burger King heard a knock at the back door shortly after midnight on July 23, 2013. The manager was expecting a cleaning crew at the business and believed it was them at the door. When the manager opened the door, a man armed with a handgun barged into the restaurant. The suspect calmly walked around the business with gloves on and the lower portion of his face covered. He stole approximately $100 from the register till that was located in a back office and then fled the scene. No one was injured during the armed robbery.
