Remedies for the Chastisements | Fr. Isaac Mary Relyea

Fr. Isaac explains important remedies which all Catholics should avail themselves of in this current crisis. Yes, there is a virus going around, but other things are also at work. Some “never let a crisis go to waste,” use it as an opportunity to accomplish nefarious purposes. We know this is happening because things continue to escalate. The whole world is on ‘shutdown.’ This has never happened before. Only essential services are being allowed, but none of these are spiritual. All our freedoms are restricted. People are being isolated, which instills fear and despair. Do we not see how the ‘Errors of Russia’ warned against by Our Lady of Fatima have indeed spread through the entire world? Yet God never abandons us even when we abandon Him. People are afraid of dying, of being imprisoned, but no one fears God! The first remedy is that we must stop sinning. Otherwise, God’s wrath increases and things continue to worsen. Other crucial remedies include praying the Rosary and turning to Our Lady, practicing daily Mental Prayer, and mortifying ourselves through prayer and penance.
