Tips to Prevent Forest Fires and House Fires

October 6, 2014 -- As cold weather approaches, NAZ Today features fire prevention. Summit Fire Department's Mike Allen has campfire safety tips. He encourages citizens to know how to prevent both forest and house fires. He also advises caution with space heaters. Keep rugs, carpet, clothes and anything combustible at least three feet away from the space heater and be sure it is plugged in to an outlet that has a sufficient capacity for it.
