It tells the story of a boy named Madhu who loves eating different kinds of food and snacks. The Act of Kindness: Madhu eats his lunch under a banyan tree every day. One day, he shares his meal with a hungry old man. The Magical Reward: Grateful for his kindness, the old man grants Madhu a wish through the magical banyan tree. Madhu wishes for an endless variety of food. The Consequence: The tree grants his wish, providing him with laddoos, fruits (like mangoes and grapes), and savouries (like samosas and kachoris). However, Madhu soon develops hiccups and feels extremely thirsty. The Realization: He tries to quench his thirst with sharbat, kheer, and milk, but nothing works. He realizes he specifically wished for "nothing else" but food, and thus has no water. He finally prays for the food to disappear so he can have water instead.
