Sri Lanka: Unpunished War Crimes (6/6)

Sri Lanka's Killing Fields: Unpunished War Crimes is a documentary that aired on Channel 4 News on March 2012. It is a follow-up to the documentary titled Sri Lanka's Killing Fields (2011). The documentary presents sound evidence demonstrating that the Sri Lankan government deliberately targeted Tamil civilians, through a variety of different strategies, to maximize civilian deaths. A United Nations report has stated that AT LEAST 40 000 civilians were killed during the final phases of the Sri Lankan civil war, and that the vast majority of those deaths were due to government actions.
