Guided Meditation | Reduce Overthinking & Stress | 8 minutes | English

Guided Meditation Instruction – 8 Minutes (Grounding and Relaxation) Begin in a comfortable seated position, or lying down if you prefer. Let your hands rest gently on your lap or by your sides. When you’re ready, softly close your eyes. 1. Centering (1 minute) Take a deep breath in through your nose… and slowly exhale through your mouth. Again, breathe in… and let it go. Allow your breath to find a natural rhythm—steady and easy. 2. Body Awareness (2 minutes) Now gently bring your attention to your body. Notice where your body makes contact with the ground or the chair. Feel the support beneath you. Become aware of any areas of tension or tightness. There’s no need to change anything—just notice. With each breath, allow yourself to soften a bit more… Relax your shoulders… your jaw… your hands. Let your body feel heavy, grounded, and supported. 3. Breath Focus (3 minutes) Now bring your focus to your breath. Feel the air as it enters your nose, travels down into your lungs… Feel the rise of your chest or belly as you inhale… and the gentle release as you exhale. If your mind begins to wander, gently bring it back to your breath. Let your breath be your anchor in the present moment. 4. Visualization (2 minutes) Imagine with each breath in, you’re breathing in calm… And with each breath out, you’re releasing tension. Picture a soft, warm light at the top of your head. With every breath, this light slowly travels down your body, relaxing each area it touches—your face, neck, shoulders, arms, chest, back, legs… all the way to your toes. Feel this light holding you in peace. 5. Closing (2 minutes) Take a few moments to rest in this stillness. There’s nowhere you need to be—just here. Now, begin to bring awareness back to your body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Take a deep breath in… and gently exhale. When you feel ready, slowly open your eyes.
