Steam in the frost - Swanage Railway "Winter Warm Up Gala" 2016

The Swanage Railway held their annual "Winter Warmup" gala on Tuesday 27 December, featuring an intensive timetable of both passenger and freight duties as well as a double header late in the day. Despite the cold conditions, all locos put in an excellent performance, the steam engines' exhaust hanging still in the air making for a picturesque sight. The event is also the last major outing for M7 30053 before its current boiler certificate expires.
