Completing the main storyline of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, we found out that Abstergo, now under the pretext of her subsidiary, Abstergo Entertainment, is trying to locate bodies of the so-called "Sages", a manifestation of the Precursor race in human bodies that occur with every generation, in order to replicate the Precursor race genome. Stepping into the shoes of an unknown modern-day Assassin recruit, we find ourselves in the search of the next Sage. Assassin's Creed: Unity finds us following Arno Victor Dorian, an Assassin living during the age of the French Revolution and Napoleon's French Empire, who ran into a Sage during this time period. What he doesn't know is, that this particular Sage is going to be his main enemy in the end. After losing his father and being raised by Francois De la Serre's family, Arno must use his inherited abilities to find redemption and hopefully find love with Elise. In Part 38, nothing changes in the objectives thus far. Completing side-quests and repeating another Co-op Mission to unlock a piece of Equipment.
