It's the most fun anyone could have working. I'm amazed at our archives system and always have been. I used to love pulling out old tapes and reading labels and thinking I wish I had time to sit down and watch this tape from start to finish. And now I have a perfect excuse to do just that. We save everything shot locally so you can imagine a 71 year old television station has millions of film and video images that are so spectacular that they simply must be digitized and shown to a whole new audience--and hopefully, those who remember seeing stories when they aired on newscasts long ago. I do it because I love it and I know you do too San Diego. Many of you have seen yourself or loved ones--and that's awesome when that happens. I welcome your feedback and suggestions.
