Mali Islamist rebel apologises for destroying shrines

In a first of its kind, the International Criminal Court is prosecuting a former Jihadist for demolishing ancient sites in Timbuktu. Former Mali Islamist rebel Ahmad al-Faqi al-Mahdi admitted damaging shrines during Mali's 2012 conflict.
