BPD Others Unit- Anna

NAME: Anna Castille AGE: 23 TYPE: Human ROLE: Medical Examiner POWERS/ABILITIES: Extremely intelligent WEAPONS: Concealed knives and pistol PERSONALITY: Anna is what most people would call cheerfully morbid. She is extremely friendly, quirky and happy and has a sunny disposition even when surrounded by corpses. Blood, bodies and the dead seem to not bother her in the slightest and her happy-go-lucky attitude towards death is often described as extremely creepy. Despite being something of an airhead at times, she is extremely intelligent and knows how to defend herself and others when the situation calls for it. Some of her favorite hobbies are cooking for her coworkers, reciting random trivia, and performing autopsies. While some might take her attitude towards death as an insult, Anna has great respect for those who have died but merely states that everyone ends their journey in the same way and she would rather end her own with a smile on her face instead of a frown. BACKSTORY: Even at a very young age, Anna was fascinated by anatomy and what one could learn about someone from just looking at their body. She began focusing on becoming a doctor when the Black Wars began and she came across the murder scene of a supernatural crime one day. However, rather than be frightened by the body she came across, she found herself to be fascinated by what the body alone could tell her. She also promised herself that she would find the person who had committed the crime and make sure they were justly punished. To achieve this goal, she switched her focus from being a doctor to a medical examiner, trained for the next several years and was accepted into the BPD a year later after passing the rigorous hiring process. Only a week into the job she managed to locate the criminal she had sworn to find and saw him put behind bars based on the evidence she had uncovered. However, her fascination of the dead and her need to see those same dead avenged continues to keep her working at the BPD.
