Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver - Vs. Elite Four Bruno

Bruno is the 3rd member of the Elite Four and a stark contrast to Koga. He couldn't care less about trying to mess you up and prefers to instead hit you as hard as he possibly can. His team's unity in the Fighting-Type means that a Psychic-type will serve you well - provided it's fast enough. You'll want to have Pokemon with high physical defense stats to withstand Bruno's attacks. Ghost-types have a slight advantage, though Bruno is hardly limited to only Fighting-type attacks. Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee are quite strong, but Bruno's real threat is his Machamp. Not only is it fully-evolved, but it's also a few levels stronger than the rest of his team, and can manage to punch out a Ghost-type. Speed, physical defense, and Psychic-type attacks are your best bet here.
