The Most Magical Place in Japan?? Winter VANLIFE (Japanese Campervan)

Vanlife in winter in the Japanese Alps definitely has its challenges! However Vanlife Japan is still awesome! In this week’s video we experience wild snow monkeys in their natural habitat of the mountains, enjoying warming up their bones in the hot springs. This week we have to get some vanlife admin underway. Figuring out how to do vanlife in Japan has been interesting. We also head to Kiyotsu Gorge and try our first go at wildcamping. Winter in Japan is more magical than I dreamed, it feels like a winter wonderland when you see snow dusted trees as far as the eye can see. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan.
