Blindsided is the first main mission in the "Turf Wars" downloadable content for Marvel's Spider-Man. Yuriko Watanabe, the New York City police, and Spider-Man try to raid Maggia Don Hammerhead in the Harlem Sanitarium to shut down his operation for good. Completing this mission rewards the player with the Spider-Armor MK I Suit. Yuri recounts the story of "The Heist", and reveals that without the USB drives, he cannot blackmail the other Maggia dons, and is instead attempting to wipe them out by force using Sable International weaponry. Because the Maggia have Hammerhead pinned in the Harlem Sanitarium, the police have the chance to shut him down. Spider-Man arrives assisting Yuri and the police, and meets an officer named Lieutenant Drake who is wearing a Spider-Man watch bought by his child as a birthday present. Spider-Man defeats the thugs outside while Yuri's team infiltrates, but loses contact with Yuri later and infiltrates to find her. Inside, he finds that Hammerhead's people were betting over districts they could control when the Maggia were out. He also finds more Sable tech, and using a repurposed security system, finds that Hammerhead has beaten the strike team. Spider-Man reaches Yuri to find her men have been defeated by Hammerhead, as Hammerhead himself forces Yuri to watch her men die in front of her. Hammerhead promises he will bring back fear and respect, though Yuri and Lieutenant Drake put up a valiant effort to fight the thugs and break out. Hammerhead points out he can sense Yuri's fear as she has a gun aimed at him, and Spider-Man arrives. A shootout when the lights are blown out leads to the death of Lieutenant Drake and Hammerhead's escape. Spider-Man is an action-adventure game based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Remastered for PlayStation 5. It is the first licensed game developed by Insomniac and their first game in their Spider-Man Franchise. The game tells a new story about Spider-Man that is not tied to an existing comic book, video game, or film. It covers both the Peter Parker and Spider-Man aspects of the character.
