Fishing the Bristol Avon at Saltford - Part 1 - A New Swim Part 1 of renewed winter efforts to explore the fishing on my local river. My efforts to fish last winter revealed where I could consistently find bream, roach and pike, but my desire to find some bigger chub and one of the elusive barbel went unfilled. In this series, I move up river on the same stretch to explore new swims and pursue these bigger fish.
