WWE 2K23: New Gameplay Features Revealed, Tired Animations, Stamina Details & HUD Explained!
In today's video we're running through all of the new updates and changes to gameplay in WWE 2K23, as we have a full overview of the new player HUD, updates to the Payback system, Pin Mechanics, weapon animations and a whole lot more! Topics covered in this video include: New Pin System Full coverage on the new pin mechanic that sees the old button mashing mini-game replaced with a new timed kick out system that features a moving kick out zone and new kick out buttons. New Weapon Taunts New gameplay footage of the new weapon taunts in action, including steel chair, kendo stick and sledgehammer taunts! Payback Updates Updates to the Payback system that allow players to choose two Payback's instead of one. E.g. Resiliency and Comebacks. Player HUD A full breakdown of the new player HUD and how the new momentum bar works, including details details on the moving Payback marker that allows you to access Payback's without having to fill the entire bar, as well as how the new 3 segment finisher meter works with stored finishers. New Kick Out Animations New gameplay footage of the kick out animations that have been updated, including new frustrated animations that see the player get more and more frustrated after each kick out. New Stamina System Full details on the new stamina system and how it works, including example of new tired animations when the bar is empty. Overall the gameplay featured in WWE 2K23 is very similar to WWE 2K22, with all of the main gameplay mechanics returning, along with a few new additions.
