Reenactment of an earlier discussion, I set the dummy (Dan) to do his ultra 1. After the ultra is blocked, Dan is supposedly airborne. Therefore T.Hawk's super should not connect. My speculation is this, after Dan's ultra is blocked he is in block recovery therefore leaving himself WIDE OPEN for T.Hawk's super to connect. The animation means absolutely nothing, and the game engine understands that Dan's hitbox is right in front of T.Hawk therefore Dan is on the ground and eligible to be grabbed by T.Hawk's super.
