Spilling the tea on the fashion industry: He brutally raped me at a lunch!

Nikki DuBose's time in the fashion industry was anything but positive. It's a very psychologically and physically damaging industry because it is so poorly regulated. DuBose disclosed that she was raped and sexually harassed during her time in the modelling industry, which "exacerbated" her eating disorders. She was raped by a photographer at a lunch that was organized by the director of her agency. Where did this rape occur? At the director's very own house in Miami, who had assured her that on that day, everything would be glorious because he was holding a special casting with the photographer, just for her. No one deserves to be raped. Ever. In any situation. Society will oftentimes believe the perpetrators and give cold eyes to the victims, which in turn, leaves the victims with feelings of shame and quite frankly, re-victimizes them. So a victim of rape has at least two perpetrators: the one who raped and those who do not believe the victim.
