CCTV footage of the incident captured the suspect approaching a Jewish man with a knife in his hand. The civilian quickly reacted, jolting back and kicking the assailant before turning around and fleeing. The suspect also fled, reportedly towards Huwara, south of Nablus. In a brief statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the civilian managed to escape safely, sustaining no injuries. A search is now on for the attacker, the army said, adding: "We will not tolerate any form of terror."
