How to freeze herbs: Don't let them go to waste!

The last video I posted used a bunch of herbs: fresh rosemary, sage and thyme. The recipe didn't use ALL of the herbs I bought, so I began the process of freezing them for later use. As I started, I thought "OH, I should make a video about THIS! It's such a great tip!!" You should never let your herbs go to waste. Just freeze them in olive oil! Note: This only works for the tougher herbs (like rosemary, oregano, thyme and sage)...not for the herbs like cilantro and parsley. The only piece of equipment you need is an ice cube tray! Then loosely break up the herbs and put a small amount into each section in the tray. (Fill about half of the section with herbs). Then cover with olive oil! Freeze them until completely frozen, and then pop them out of the tray and stick them in a plastic bag. Put the bag back in the freezer--and they're there for you to use anytime you need them!
