A proper real-world, chaotic, moving, low-light, harsh-light test… basically everything cameras normally hate. I graded everything in DaVinci Resolve, and also ran some of the footage through Dehancer Pro to test out the film emulation workflow and how easily it handles Log2 + V-Log footage side-by-side. The iPhone genuinely surprised me… and the S9 still held its own with the 120fps slow-mo. This is the full comparison – real football, real lighting, real emotions. ⸻ 🎞️ GEAR + SOFTWARE USED • iPhone 17 Pro – Apple Log2, Final Cut Camera app • Lumix S9 – V-Log • DaVinci Resolve – full colour grade • Dehancer Pro – film emulation + grading workflow • Lumix L-mount lenses • DJI Mic 2 ⸻ ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 – Intro – taking my son to his first Premier League match 01:04 – Why I brought two cameras 01:20 – iPhone 17 Pro Log2 footage 02:00 – 120fps Slow motion 02:25 – VLOG & Apple Log2 Before & After 03:20 – Testing Dehancer Pro 04:42 – The camera I’d use next time 05:25 – Final thoughts
