Dangerous? Exploring the Back Alleys of Ensley, Alabama!

Today I find myself exploring the back alleys of Ensley, Alabama. So, was it dangerous? NO! While exploring the back alleys of Ensley, Alabama I met some great people. A barber, a business owner, two what seemed to be homeless people in the back alleys and a young non profit business entrepreneur. I had great conversations with all! Great people in the city of Ensley, Alabama right outside of Birmingham. Exploring back alleys often is the heartbeat of the city. Interesting things can be found exploring back alleys like beautiful people and street art known as graffiti. Whenever exploring the back alleys of a city and I come across art I always try to be sure and video the artist's name. The back alleys of Ensley were a great way to move from block to block without the worry to heavy traffic. The back alleys of Ensley revealed a lot of better days but also hinted of a city that could make a rebound... Anytime I'm exploring the back alleys of a city I'm also aware that you are alone and must be careful and be aware of your surroundings. But if you're willing, you can see a lot of a city on foot that you'd miss if you stayed in your car.
