NYC Doctor Removing Gang Tattoos For Free

Dr. David Ores of Manhattan, New York is known for helping gang members get rid of their tattoos. Dr. Ores has been serving his community for years, but he recently faced some tax issues and was hit with a $27,000 bill. That’s when the community came together to help raise the funds for him. “Over 600 people gave me money, $10, $40, some gave a $100. Low amounts of money, I can’t believe it, it’s wonderful. It’s a wonderful life,” Dr. Ores said. Dr. Ores explained his reasoning for helping people get their life back on track. “Think of ex-offenders. If they have a job the prison rate is 15% in two years, without a job its 90%. If a guy gets a job, he’s paying taxes and he is working somewhere supporting a wife, kids, and family.
