May God hear your prayers for this season and beyond == When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them John 13: 12-17 One of the major causes of crisis in our homes and society is because people don’t understand the concept of leadership. Many see and want only the honour and the throne, without appreciating the responsibilities The throne isn’t one place you just climb, sit pretty and make decisions by dishing orders, it is a place of labour Your headship is for the service of the people who are under you, it isn’t for your glory. What you put before you, is the interest of those who have been placed in your care Jesus’s last minute assignments included showing His disciples the true meaning of Leadership. He washed the feet of those under him and charged them to do same. He was bequeathing them THE CHURCH, He knew that after His death and resurrection, there will be a proliferation because of signs and wonders, it would be so easy to have the Apostles forget their assignment to the church because of the reverence the members would give. Power if not handled rightly is intoxicating. In a position of leadership, whenever you have to remind your followers that you are the one in charge, take a step back and examine your works, you may be missing the assignment. Your followers should not feel oppressed under you, they should feel well serviced. Your followers shouldn’t depreciate under you, they should make progress. == 0:00 Lenten reflection day 16 0:27 bible passage 0:51 Lent reflection day 16 1:31 prayer for Lenten grace 2:07 conclusion Lenten reflections 2023 Lent reflection day 16 Lenten recollections 2023 Lenten season day 16 Lenten reflection Daily lent reflection Daily Lenten reflection Lent daily reflection Daily prayer during lent Lenten reflection and prayers Lenten songs hymns catholic Lenten meditations 2023 Lenten prayers 2023 Lenten retreat Lenten talks Lenten gospel acclamation What is lent Fasting during lent What’s the purpose of lent Things you can give up for lent Lent 40 days before Easter #lentenreflection #lentenreflections #lentreflection #lent #lentenseason #fasting #prayer #abstinence
