He goes through the steps of: 1. Washing the sticky pad under warm water and gently removing the dirt and grime from years of use. 2. Letting air dry for ~24 hours 3. Reattaching the pad and applying the suction 4. Many more years of continued use (fix worked and continues to hold like a champ!) While this was done on the iOttie cell phone holder model, it likely will work with other types of mounts that have a sticky gel pad as the primary sticking component on the dashboard or windshield, but make sure to check your manufacturer's suggestions on fixing.
