It seems like you all enjoy watching me do laundry more than I do, so here we go! (Please refer to the previous laundry comedy video for more.) In this video, I’ll show you how to load the laundry into the machine, choose the appropriate settings, and deal with various challenges like lighting issues and barking dogs. Did you know that newer washing machines offer a range of options? Quick Wash, Delicate, Cold Wash, Activewear, Rinse and Spin, Normal, Towels, Bulky, Sanitize and Power Clean? Oh My! Our washing machine at the mountain cabin has a simple design: open the lid, put the clothes in, close the lid, and turn the dial to “On.” It’s much easier to use. I’ll also introduce you to my Amazon laundry basket and my cool AARP gift with our subscription. You’ll have to see it for yourself! It’s one of the many benefits of being a certain age. Now, let’s address the lighting issues in the kitchen. Remember, this is a one-woman show. I film, act, and improvise without a script, usually doing it in one take. But I also have to ensure the right lighting, set up the best camera angle, manage the sound, and work the remote control to turn the camera on and off. And of course, I do my own hair and makeup, and use FaceTune when needed. While I was setting up to film this laundry video and doing the laundry, I realized I had forgotten to put away the ice cream I had bought earlier in the freezer. Fortunately, I had it in a cooler, so it didn’t melt. We like to stay organized when shopping and doing laundry.
