Just wow. Rosa 'Plum Perfect' Kordes 1999 Note: A favorite, beautiful deep plum colored leaves in new growth, fall/winter. Rosa 'Peace' Meilland 1945 Note: Heavy Blackspot for me. Rosa 'Zephirine Drouhin' Bizot 1868 Note: I have this one sheltered under an awning, minimal blackspot. Blooms year 2. Rosa 'Madame Isaac Pereire' Armond Garçon 1881 Note: I think this fragrance may top Double Delight for me. Generous blooms. Fast grower. Rosa 'Perfume Delight' Swim and Weeks 1974 Note: Smell carries on air. Blackspot for me if ignored. Rosa 'The Poet's Wife' David Austin Roses 2014 Note: I reserve judgment on this till 2nd year in-ground. Rosa 'Abraham Darby' David Austin Roses 1985 Note: Diva in the garden, blackspot, beautiful smell. Rosa 'Gingersnap' Chabert ???? Note: Suzy's Favorite Rosa 'Just Joey' Roger Pawsey 1972 Note: Stops me in my garden walk when every time. Rosa 'Pink Peace' Meilland 1959 Note: Color can not be described or captured, only experienced :) Rosa 'Belinda's Dream' Dr. Robert Bayse 1992 Note: Prolific bloomer. Really. Better in dry heat, flowers fade fast. Watching for year 2. Rosa 'Chicago Peace' Johnston 1962 Note: Super interesting two-toned blooms. Rosa 'Gentle Hermoine' David Austin Roses 2005 Note: Deer ate this one, right after phenomenal blooms. Has a scent, waiting for full development. Rosa 'Tropicana' Tantau 1960 Note: I can't detect a scent but family can. Really beautiful color, perfect name. Rosa 'Angel Face' Swim & Weeks 1968 Note: Reserving judgment till 2nd year. Rosa 'Paul Neyron' Levet 1869 Note: Grew very fast. The deer tell me they taste wonderful. Rosa 'Paradise' Weeks 1978 Note: Reserving judgment till 2nd year. Rosa 'Eden' Meilland 1985 Note: Climbed 10' first year, waiting for 2nd year blooms. Rosa 'Della Reese' Tom Carruth 2003 Note: Strong fragrance, stunning color. Rosa 'Charles De Mills' Laffay, before 1786 Note: Once bloomer. New transplant. We'll see. Rosa 'Blue Girl' Kordes 1984 Note: Lavender, surprisingly strong scent, wilty blooms. Maybe next year. Rosa 'Leonard de Vinci' Meilland 1994 Note: New transplant. Rosa 'Maria Stern' Brownell Family 1948 Note: There is nothing wrong with the picture. She is just that bright. Rosa 'New Day' Kordes 1972 Note: Something about this rose. Striking green against striking yellow? Rosa 'Julia Child' Tom Carruth 2004 Note: I wonder if this is considered Tom's crowning achievement? I may buy more just because. Rosa 'Sunset Horizon' Meilland ? Note: This was a mislabeled rose. I guessed the variety. I almost shovel pruned it, but it grew on me. Arrangements All arrangements were done by my wonderful, talented wife. Using my flowers. Sort of with permission.
