Sturgeon Vows Legal Independence Referendum for Scotland

Dec.19 -- Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon vowed to hold a legal and internationally recognized referendum on independence, calling on the British government to allow her to do so in the wake of Brexit. Sturgeon said it is “the solemn right of the people of Scotland to decide our own future.”
