Dawud Walid Why is Ahi al-Bayt Marginalised?

In this important lecture delivered live on Facebook, 6th March 2017, Dawud Walid sets out to ask the question Why is Ahi al-Bayt (famiy of the Prophet Muhammad) Marginalized?, using his extensive knowledge of Islamic history he presets an alternative to the accepted written history that transcends sectarian schism and cultist indoctrination. This is an important lecture for both Sunnis and Shia dispelling ages old assumptions about each other placing the family of the Prophet in their proper place without exaggeration or marginalisation. Dawud Walid is currently the Executive Director of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI), which is a chapter of America’s largest advocacy and civil liberties organization for American Muslims and is a member of the Michigan Muslim Community Council (MMCC) Imams Committee.
