In this video, I build and show the "ATX64" from www.uni64.com which was designed by Matthias. Btw this video is NOT sponsored in any way and I build the ATX64 for myself and good fun :-) The ATX64 is a full Commodore 64 but it is build in ATX form factor. Some of the advantages are: you can put 4 expansion cards onto the board to easily extend the C64 many parts are replaced by modern equivalents you can put it into an ATX case you can put TWO sid chips onto the board it is based on the latest revision Commodore 64C, therefore much more reliable than the old breadbin C64s power can be supplied by an ATX power supply or another external power supply It just looks AMAZING!!! :-) In the video, I show how I soldered the board and we will also have a look if it actually works.
