Air-Cooled R9 Fury 4K Benchmarks vs Fury X/GTX 980 Ti/GTX 980

We've just received the Radeon R9 Fury - the air-cooled, cut-down version of the Fury X! And we've worked as quickly as possible to bring you 4K benchmarks. Based on the Fury X testing, we expect this to show the card at its very best, so we've compared it against the best - GTX 980 Ti and Fury X - along with GTX 980 benches, since that is what AMD is targeting. The result? The air-cooled Fury is around 93 per cent as potent as Fury X, and about 10 per cent off the pace of the GTX 980 Ti. On aggregate, it's about 18 per cent faster than GTX 980. Note that all comparisons here are at reference clocks.
