Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Diddy Kong Voice Clips

All of Diddy Kong's voice clips from Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, provided by Katsumi Suzuki and reused and pitched up from the original DKCR as well as Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Kart Wii (except for one voice clip that's normal pitch). After about a decade and a half, the DKCR voice clips are finally available on the internet, so naturally I just had to upload my favorite character's voicelines. In both this game as well as Tropical Freeze, Diddy's voice is strangely pitched up for whatever reason, making him sound like he's on helium for most of the game (although in the cutscenes, his voice sounds normal). My guess is that Retro Studios pitched up his voice to sound cuter to newcomers of the series, but I personally prefer his normal-sounding voice as heard in other games. I like to call Diddy's voice here "Chipmunk Diddy" for obvious reasons! Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is copyright Nintendo.
