Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena has approved the proposal to send the complaint received by DTC to the CBI regarding gross irregularities/corruption in the purchase of 1000 low-floor buses. AAP counters graft charges and said 'LG is facing corruption charges. His allegations are baseless'. The LG office said that the Chief Secretary's proposal has been approved by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. A complaint addressed to Saxena in June this year claimed that the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) had "pre-planned" appointed the transport minister as the chairman of the committee constituted for tendering and procurement of buses.
