In one of the biggest calls in the game, 49ers defensive back Deion Sanders stumbles while covering Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin, but recovers to break up the pass. But not without some controversy, Dallas felt Sanders interfered with Irvin on the play, but the referees disagreed leaving it an incomplete pass. Irvin and Sanders still debate the call.
