Groove Blues is a great charts composed and arranged by Don Menza for the Louie Bellson Big Band. This was my closing number on a concert I did at the Blue Rooster club in Sarasota Florida on February 11,2014. This features Dick Hamilton on trombone,Tom Ellison on tenor sax and Tony Castellano on piano. Always feels great when my Big Band gets a standing ovation for one of my concerts. Hard to do these days,but thanks to all my outstanding musicians who always give a 100% to this music.
