In today's video, I'm going to teach you how to add call-to-action buttons in Wix. If you're looking to enhance user engagement on your website, a call-to-action button is a fantastic way to direct your visitors to take specific actions, whether it's signing up for a newsletter, purchasing a product, or contacting your business. To start, open your preferred web browser and log in to your Wix account by visiting wix.com. If you don't have an account yet, now is the time to create one. Once you're logged in, you'll be greeted by Wix’s dashboard. From here, navigate to the “Website Builder” by clicking on “Wix.com: Website Builder - Create a Free Website In Minutes.” This will guide you to the area where you can manage your sites. On the website management page, you'll see a list of your sites. Choose the one you want to work on by clicking “Select & Edit Site.” This action will take you directly into the editing interface where the magic happens. In the editing interface, look for the “Design Site” option, and click on it to dive into the specifics of your site’s design layout. Now that you're in the Wix Editor, let's start adding your call-to-action button. Look for the add button on the left-hand side of the editor; this is typically represented by a small plus sign labeled "Add Elements." Clicking on this will present you with a variety of elements you can add to your site, but for now, click on “Button.” Doing so will display a range of button styles you can choose from. Select the one that aligns with your site’s design and theme. Once chosen, click on the button to place it on the desired section of your website. It’s now time to customize this button to make it your own. Double-click on the button, and a text editor will appear. Here, you’ll want to change the button label to a call-to-action that suits your purpose, such as “Contact Now,” “Learn More,” or “Get Started.” With your call-to-action button customized, let's take it a step further by clicking on “Strip.” This feature helps integrate the button onto a section of your site seamlessly, allowing for additional customization options. Once you click on “Strip,” you can decide how you’d like to style it by clicking on the “Add” option, further enhancing the visual appeal of your call-to-action. And that's it! Your website now features an engaging call-to-action button. Implementing this small yet powerful element can significantly boost interaction with your audience, guiding them toward the actions you want them to take. Play around with different styles and placements to see what works best for your site. I hope you found this walkthrough helpful. Don't forget to hit save to ensure all your changes are applied.
