Chinese oil giant Sinopec has started drilling a 9,472-meter-deep well named "Yuejin 3-3", in the northwestern Xinjiang. It’s part of the company’s ultra-deep drilling project known as Deep Earth and is expected to be complete in about 170 days. Once finished, it will be Asia’s deepest oil well, plunging hundreds of meters deeper into the earth than Mt. Everest reaches into the sky. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents. Nobody knows SHANGHAI better than us.
