Van Life France - Eurotunnel with our dog & Mont-Saint-Michel
NEW VIDEOS WEEKLY OF OUR FULL-TIME EUROPE TOUR * In this vlog, we get the Eurotunnel to France and start our Europe van life journey. We will be spending roughly 3/4 weeks travelling around France. We start off at an Aire around an hour away from Calais just outside of a small commune called Embry - http://www.park4night.com/lieu/7000/ Here we met a couple from Holland called Paul and Mary, with who we shared tea and cakes for Paul's 60th birthday. They were so lovely and friendly and we couldn't have asked for a better way to start our trip! Next, we moved on to a seaside resort called Deauville, known for its grand casino, golf courses, horse races and American Film Festival. This was a really beautiful resort which we absolutely loved. We stayed at a peaceful park up overnight which we found on Park4night, which was right outside of a church - http://www.park4night.com/lieu/157981/ From here, we travelled to Mont Saint Michel, which is truly one of the most incredible things we have ever seen. Mont Saint Michel is a tidal island in Normandy. We loved it so so much that we went back the day after to see it at sunrise, and it was so worth the early wake-up call. The colours from the sunrise lit up the island so beautifully, and it was so quiet so early in the morning that we almost had the whole place to ourselves. We couldn't recommend visiting Mont Saint Michel more if you ever get the chance.
