In this video I compare lead acid 12 volt batteries to Lithium Iron Phosphate (LIFEPO4) batteries from Relion. The pros of lithium are that they are lighter weight, you can drain them to between 0-20% instead of only to 50% like a lead acid, they can handle more energy going into them, and they have a lot more charge cycles before you have to replace them. I also show you how to install these drop in replacements for a traditional old school battery bank in my off grid RV.
