As per the latest news on Times Now, the Special Court which had reserved its orders on the bail application of the independent Member of Parliament(MP) Navneet Kaur Rana and her independent Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) husband Ravi Rana who were arrested on the charges of sedition among others after the duo had announced they would chant Hanuman Chalisa at Chief Minister's residence Matoshree. They told the court the charge of sedition could not be invoked against them as their announcement was not made with the intention to cause violence against the government.
