I Fixed Forza Horizon 4's Engine Sound, Take a Listen!

One of the biggest complaints of Forza Horizon 4 is the engine sound. So I decided to improve it by making minor changes, all within the FH4 files and no external files or mods. And here are 9 cars which I believe (in my opinion) have their engine sounds improved! Showing & comparing both the current sound and the new sound. For now, you can edit the sound files of the Forza Horizon 4 Steam version if you know where to look at. Mod at your own risk. Timeline: 0:00 - 2016 Viper ACR 1:23 - Honda Civic Type R (EK9) 2:50 - Pagani Zonda Cinque 4:06 - Lamborghini Huracan Performante 5:16 - Ford Shelby GT350R 6:32 - Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 7:46 - Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 9:05 - Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 10:22 - 2008 Viper ACR Edit: Thought I want to mention, majority of FH4 sounds are ported from FM7. In FH4 there are 2 parts to the sound files. The base and Granular Synth (GS) which is Playground Game's version of the engine sound. GS alters the base sound completely giving it a different sound (for the player) and it becomes different from FM7, however for other players, they will only hear the base sound. There are only like 100+ cars that uses GS while the rest uses the base sound from FM7. Most of the GS cars actually sound better than the base FM7 version. However some of them are were used incorrectly and imo made some of the cars sound worse. Some of the same GS lines were copy pasted into several cars giving them the same sound, like the Camaro ZL1 using the same lines as the GT350R. So I removed the GS lines so that the car uses their base FM7 sound instead. Gonna describe on what modifications I did to get these sounds. 16 Viper ACR: Used Granular Synth from CP2077 Quadra Vtech but with Viper exhaust note Civic Type R EK9: Swapped using Prelude engine sound. Zonda Cinque: Swapped the GS Zonda R exhaust note. Huracan Performante: Swapped the Gallardo 570 GS engine note its using to the R8+ engine note. GT350R: Removed the Granular Synth GT350R sound variable. Huracan LP610-4: Removed the Granular Synth Gallardo 570 sound variable. Camaro Z/28: Removed the Granular Synth Chevy SS sound variable Camaro ZL1: Removed the Granular Synth GT350R sound variable 08 Viper ACR: Removed the Granular Synth Viper V10 sound variable. #ForzaHorizon4 #EngineSound #FH4
