Mother: Son was in care of arrested Rancho Cordova foster parent

The mother of a child in foster care said her son was living with a Rancho Cordova foster parent accused of possessing child pornography. The woman, whom KCRA 3 has chosen not to identify in order to protect her son's identity and the identity of her other children, went to Sacramento County Child Protective Services Wednesday morning hoping to see her son and get answers about his well-being. She said her 7-year-old son was in the care of Kevin Barker, who was arrested last week, for about two or three months. Barker faces charges of possessing child pornography and secretly taking inappropriate photographs "with the intent to arouse, appeal to, or gratify the lust, passions, or sexual desires of that person," court documents show.
