Caterham 270R 2019 - Brands Hatch Race 2 - DNF crashed out

The second race was well a bit of a disaster. I started in 8th place and got punted off on the first corner 0:15 dropping back to 23rd or second to last. Given I needed to finish 8th to secure 2nd in the championship this wasn't a great start! At this point I really had nothing to lose and drove the wheels off the car getting back into 10th place within the first 7 minutes of the race. After that the real work started as I tried to close the gap on the faster pack of cars. On the way I almost binned it a couple of times at paddock 11:50 being one of the closer calls! By 19:00 minutes in I had rejoined the tail end of the 5 car fight for 5th. I had such a good run on the group that I ended up faster than I had been previous laps which lead to me changing up to 4th just as I went over a wet patch of tarmac. Resulting in me spinning into the pit wall!
