How "Dyers Eve" Should Have Sounded - Metallica's "Dyers Eve" w/ Louder Original Bass

On September 27th, 1986, Metallica's superstar bassist Cliff Burton died in a tour bus crash in Sweden while the band was touring to promote their new album "Master of Puppets." Cliff is remembered as being one of the most innovative and talented bass guitar players of all time. Some consider him to be the greatest bassist to ever live. Burton was replaced by Jason Newsted. As a strange means of hazing Newsted, or perhaps as the band's way of mourning the loss of Burton, the bass track on the next 1988 studio album "...And Justice for All" was mixed so low that it is inaudible. The album has become known as "the album with no bass." Many have attempted to "fix" the album by re-mixing the bass track into the album's songs. However, most of the time these "And Justice for Jason" remasters mix the bass far too loud for many people's tastes. Here I have enhanced the bass to the volume that I think the bass should have originally been mixed at. Loud enough to be audible, but not so loud that it's overpowering.
