Evan Mobley put up 27 for Cleveland, but the Cavs came up short in the final minute. Rockets 129 – Jazz 101 Houston rolled to a dominant win behind Alperen Şengün’s 27 points, controlling the game from start to finish. Utah’s rookie Ace Bailey scored 19, but the Jazz couldn’t keep up with Houston’s offense or interior scoring. Knicks 116 – Raptors 94 New York handled business at home behind Karl-Anthony Towns’ 22 points, controlling the game on both ends. Immanuel Quickley scored 19 for Toronto, but the Raptors couldn’t keep pace with the Knicks’ scoring depth. Hawks 142 – 76ers 134 (2OT) In a double-overtime thriller, Jalen Johnson exploded for 41 to carry Atlanta to the win. Tyrese Maxey dropped 44 in one of the top scoring games of the night, but Philadelphia ran out of gas as Atlanta closed strong in the second OT. Thunder 123 – Trail Blazers 115 OKC grabbed another win behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 26 points, maintaining their usual offensive efficiency. Deni Avdija led Portland with 31, but the Blazers couldn’t slow down OKC late in the fourth. Timberwolves 125 – Spurs 112 Minnesota protected home court behind Anthony Edwards’ 32 points, controlling the second half and putting the game away early in the fourth. De’Aaron Fox scored 25 for San Antonio, but the Spurs couldn’t generate enough stops to keep the game close.
