Matter and Energy Part 2 Pure Substances, Mixtures and Separation Techniques

This tutorial focuses on the difference between a pure substance and a mixture. The category of pure substance is broken down into elements and compounds. Mixtures are divided into heterogeneous mixtures and homogenous mixtures. Examples of all types are provided. A very general overview of the separation techniques of distillation, chromatography and filtration are also presented.
