The story takes place in Savannah, Georgia where you can play as one of the four main survivors Nick, Ellis, Coach, or Rochelle. In the main story, you play through one of the six official campaigns fighting against hordes of the infected and special infected to make your way through the multiple stages in each attempting to reach safe houses to rest and gear up before the next stage.
