The month-long event included a nine-hour block of various Scooby-Doo installments airing daily from 1:00 to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, along with a different movie from the franchise airing every Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. under the New Scooby Movies banner. The Scoobtober block premiered on Cartoon Network and HBO Max from October 1 to 31, 2021 with Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? moving to HBO Max to premiere the remaining second season episodes, HBO Max adding Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! and the movies and Cartoon Network airing the movies every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., including Scoob!, Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! and Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob.
